    • On February 2, 2012, author Stephanie Coontz, presented a program entitled Mad Men, Working Girls, and Desperate Housewives at The University and Whist Club. Her newest book, A Strange Stirring, was available for purchase and Stephanie  graciously signed this and other books.
    • Our 2011 Annual Lecture was held on Thursday, October 6, 2011.
    • We held a wine tasting fundraiser on Friday, May 13, 2011 at Deerfield Fine Wines and Tastings. Thank you to everyone who came out to support DHF’s efforts to provide humanities programming to all Delawareans!
    • DHF’s Hard at Work Book Discussion Series came to Wilmington, with discussions on February 27, March 20 and April 10, 2011 at Union City Grille.
    • National Endowment for the Humanities Chairman Jim Leach came to Delaware on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 to deliver a lecture on Civility in America.
    • 2009 Annual Lecture with Dr. Carole Marks, author of Moses, the Monster and Miss Anne – final anniversary event
    • Anniversary celebration capped off by two-day symposium, inspired by “Places,” on September 18-19, 2009 in Sussex County
