Pulitzer Prize Centennial Campfires Initiative

In 2016, the 100th anniversary of the Pulitzer Prizes, the Pulitzer Prize Board and the Federation of the State Humanities Councils offered grants to Humanities Councils in 46 states, including Delaware. Delaware Humanities offered scholar-led literature discussions and creative writing workshops in all three counties. Participants read and discussed four previous winners of the Pulitzer Prize for fiction and workshopped their own creative writing projects. In 2017, Pulitzer winning author David Hoffman gave a lecture at the University of Delaware on Russia and the United States: A New Cold War?  A film of the lecture is available under Resources.
