Kim Burdick

Kim Burdick is an award-winning public historian who has coordinated a number of major projects including the nine-state and DC Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route (2003-2009), and a variety of local seminars and symposiums including “18th Century Abolitionists”, co-sponsored by Quaker Hill Preservation Foundation (Spring 2013), “George Washington: Man and Myth” (June 2014) and “Voices of the Past: Stories of the Black Patriots of the American Revolution” (Spring 2017).

As a member of the national  society of the American Friends of Lafayette, Kim has been appointed Chairman of  Delaware’s October 2024 celebration of Lafayette’s Triumphal Return.

Resident Site Manager of the historic Hale Byrnes House, Kim is a graduate of the Cooperstown Graduate Programs and of the College of Urban Affairs at the University of Delaware.

She is a life member of American Friends of Lafayette, Chairman of the American Revolution Round Table of Northern Delaware, the first woman President of the George Washington Society, and Chairman Emeritus of the Delaware Humanities Council.
